EHS PTSA Presidents' Letter 2009/2010
EHS PTSA Presidents' Letter 2009/2010
Dear Parents:
The best way to keep an eye on your student and learn what is really going on at school is to actively participate at Eastlake through our volunteer programs. With the current budget crisis, our school will depend on volunteers more than ever to make up the shortfalls. We would like to make a special plea to all of the Eastlake community to volunteer in any capacity you can afford.
PTSA is a wonderful way to get involved. We hold fundraisers throughout the year to benefit curriculum programs, teachers’ needs, senior graduation and scholarships for students, to name just a few. From working with staff to computer work, emergency preparedness, mentoring students, to helping at graduation, we have a meaningful volunteer opportunity for you.
We don’t want to cut traditional programs due to lack of volunteers or funding. Please review the Eastlake Volunteer Opportunities sheet included in this packet and don’t hesitate to make a difference in your student’s education. We appreciate the gifts you offer that help us make Eastlake High School a great place for all our children. Thank you in advance for your help in making this the best volunteer year ever at Eastlake.
